"As a form of support for the Central Java Provincial Government program (Pemprov Jateng), PT Superior Prima Sukses (SPS) through its lightweight brick product Blesscon has built houses for underprivileged communities in two villages in Sukoharjo Regency.
The program, titled 'Simple Healthy Homes,' is one of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, a collaboration between PT SPS, the Central Java Provincial Government, and Sukoharjo Regency Government. Currently, the Central Java Provincial Government records that more than 300,000 families do not have homes.
According to data from the Department of Housing and Settlement Areas (Disperakim) of Central Java, approximately 1 million people currently reside in rented houses. However, the Central Java Provincial Government is gradually addressing this issue and has completed 1,500 houses so far.
During this initiative, Blesscon contributed by providing lightweight bricks for the construction of houses for those in need. Specifically, in the villages of Karangwuni and Pranan, Polokarto sub-district, Sukoharjo. The assistance was directly provided by PT SPS Brand Manager Yusuf Permadi to the Head of Disperakim Central Java Province, Arif Djatmiko.
PT SPS Brand Manager Yusuf Permadi stated that this assistance reflects Blesscon's commitment to supporting decent housing development programs in Central Java, especially for the less fortunate.
"What we can provide, hopefully, can have a positive impact on the community, especially for the less fortunate," said Yusuf in a statement on Wednesday (17/4/2024).
He expressed his gratitude to the Central Java Provincial Government and Sukoharjo Regency Government for continuously collaborating with Blesscon to foster and succeed in infrastructure development programs in Central Java.
"Hopefully, this will continue to create new opportunities for us to enhance the quality of development in Central Java. May this collaboration continue to inspire us all," said Yusuf.
On the other hand, Arif Djatmiko, Head of Disperakim, appreciated the assistance provided by Blesscon in Sukoharjo. Particularly, the Central Java Provincial Government is currently implementing a program to build 1 million houses.
"Not all communities can benefit because not everyone has access. Especially in Central Java, this program is realized in the form of house construction," said Arif.
"Although this assistance does not reduce the aid allocated by the government to the community. Everything is handed over to the community," he concluded."
