After completing the capacity upgrades of production machinery at Factory 1 in Mojokerto and Factory 2 in Lamongan, PT Superior Prima Sukses Tbk (BLES), known for its lightweight brick products under the brands Blesscon and Superiore Block, swiftly embarked on the expansion by constructing a new factory in Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java.

This upcoming factory will be BLES's 5th facility, adding to its existing 4 factories with 5 production lines located in Mojokerto, Sidoarjo, Lamongan, and Sragen (lines A and B).

The new facility in Banjarnegara will occupy a 5.9-hectare land and have an installed capacity of 1 million m3 per year. The estimated investment for this project is around Rp 250 billion. Scheduled to commence operations by mid-2025, the factory is expected to employ approximately 250 workers.

President Director of BLES, Billy Law, explained that Banjarnegara was chosen for the Blesscon Lightweight Brick expansion to facilitate material distribution in an area currently lacking a lightweight brick factory.

Furthermore, the presence of the lightweight brick factory in Banjarnegara will offer consumers competitive pricing, availability assurance, and fast delivery times.

"With the new factory in Banjarnegara, it will automatically increase the production capacity from our existing four factories. In 2024, our combined installed capacity from the current five lines in four factories is 4.6 million m3 per year. With the addition of the fifth factory next year, our installed capacity will increase to 5.6 million m3 per year," he stated in a press release on Monday, July 22.

He added that BLES targets a 28% growth in net sales in 2024 and 36% in 2025. As the market leader in AAC Lightweight Brick industry in Indonesia, BLES is supported by a strong distribution network across the country.

"Considering the vast untapped market, the prospects for the AAC lightweight brick industry remain promising, and BLES itself is very optimistic about continuing to grow," he concluded.
