PT Superior Prima Sukses Tbk (BLES) achieved a gross profit increase of 17.21% in the third quarter of 2024, with a gross profit margin of 33.45%. This increase in gross profit margin indicates that BLES has successfully improved its production efficiency compared to the third quarter of 2023, which recorded a gross profit margin of 30.28%.
As of the third quarter of this year, BLES recorded a gross profit of IDR 345 billion from sales amounting to IDR 1.032 trillion. In the same period last year, the gross profit was IDR 295 billion from sales of IDR 973 billion.
The bottom line performance in this third quarter also shows growth, with net profit and EBITDA of the company growing by 19.31% and 12.10%, respectively, compared to the same period in 2023. The total assets of BLES in the third quarter of 2024 increased by 19.56% compared to December 2023.
Management stated that the company's performance in this third quarter was supported by the resumption of operations at Factory 1 in Mojokerto and Factory 2 in Lamongan, which underwent capacity upgrades in the second quarter. BLES's current installed capacity is 4.6 million m³ per year, up from 3.2 million m³ per year in 2023.
Additionally, it was noted that BLES is currently constructing Factory 5 in Banjarnegara, Central Java. This factory, which is planned to begin operations in mid-2025, will have an installed capacity of 1 million m³ per year, bringing BLES's total installed capacity to 5.6 million m³ per year.
