Blesscon Lightweight Bricks Showcase At Indonesia Quality Expo 2022

PT Superior Prima Sukses has been selected to showcase its products at the Indonesia Quality Expo (IQE) organized by the National Standardization Agency (BSN). During the event, PT Superior Prima presented its SNI-certified building material product, Blesscon lightweight bricks. Blesscon lightweight bricks are the first and only brand of walling material to apply for certification and obtain the Indonesian National Standard (SNI).
In a talk show as part of the IQE event, Blesscon's Brand Manager, Yusuf Permadi, emphasized their commitment to ensuring quality for consumers. The company aims to prevent consumers from falling into the trap of poor-quality and seemingly cheaper building materials.
"Since the beginning, the production process and quality of Blesscon lightweight bricks have adhered to established standards and have undergone reliable certification processes. We entrust this process to IAPMO," explained Yusuf in a statement on Saturday (October 8, 2022).
In February 2022, Blesscon was recognized by BSN with the SNI number 8640:2018. This recognition is a result of Blesscon's consistent efforts. To obtain this SNI number, Blesscon applied standardization from raw material selection, production processes, quality control processes, to the management of generated waste.
The implementation of these standards not only gained recognition from BSN but also earned Blesscon the trust of consumers.
"Customer loyalty has increased. There are many repeat purchases, as well as new ones. When in doubt, people tend to choose a product that comes with quality assurance," said Yusuf.
Commercial Director of PT Superior Prima Sukses, Henrianto, added supporting data indicating growth after obtaining SNI certification from BSN.
"There has been a significant increase. We only obtained SNI in 2022, and when compared year on year from Q3 2021 to 2022, the increase can be up to double," he explained.
However, he emphasized that the success of this improvement is not solely for profit but as a form of responsibility to consumers to provide good quality assurance. This aligns with the Green Label certification that Blesscon also obtained as a commitment to environmental responsibility.
Henrianto hopes that by being a pioneer in building materials with the SNI logo and proving its impact on business growth, other manufacturers will also undergo certification testing. This healthy competition, in turn, benefits consumers, and the building materials industry continues to advance.
On the other hand, Zakiyah, Deputy for the Application of Standards and Conformity Assessment at BSN, conveyed a similar message. Standardization is carried out to protect consumers and drive business progress, including for "UMKM" (Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises).
"We provide convenience for UMK to obtain SNI through the "UMKM" mentoring program. This is to foster optimism," said Zakiyah.
She also hopes that the implementation of IQE can act as a catalyst for the nation's economic revival.
As information, IQE was held in Solo from October 6-9, 2022. At the Indonesia Quality Expo, various products compliant with Indonesian National Standards (SNI) from various large industries, along with their supported UKM, were exhibited. Sixteen companies participated, including pioneers in SNI-certified products ranging from building materials to alternative energy vehicles (electric vehicle ecosystems)."
