The Association of Housing and Settlement Developers throughout Indonesia (APERSI) in Central Java and Yogyakarta Special Region (Jateng-DIY) inaugurated a new leadership for the APERSI Coordinator of the Solo Raya Region today. APERSI Jateng-DIY expressed optimism regarding the growth of the property sector despite the numerous challenges faced by the property industry in Solo.
"If the government continues to support the property sector, we can grow by 5-8% for middle-class housing and 10% for subsidized homes," said Slamet Santoso, the Chairman of APERSI Jateng-DIY, in a written statement on Wednesday (7/12/2022).
Slamet stated that this is not just a prediction. During the pandemic, the property sector continued to grow, especially for subsidized homes. According to him, this was supported by government policies such as the FLPP program and PPN discounts.
Although the issue of recession in 2023 is looming, Slamet motivates its members that this storm can certainly be weathered. To survive and progress, according to him, developers must refocus on building quality and habitable housing for Low-Income Communities (MBR).
For this reason, DPD Jateng-DIY has a work program that is also implemented together with the Solo Raya Coordinator.
"We strengthen synergy with stakeholders, such as the government, suppliers, and banks, to provide habitable and quality homes to customers (homebuyers)," he said.
Slamet ensures that various challenges such as the increase in raw material prices, rising interest rates, and the threat of recession will not affect the quality of housing. APERSI always complies with applicable quality control standards such as Building Approval (PBG) and Certificate of Functionality (SLF).
"Developers are smart in efficiency to maintain quality and price," he explained.
Regarding raw materials for wall pairs, he cited examples of several APERSI developers already using Blesscon lightweight bricks. This is done to encourage efficiency in the construction of complex housing.
According to Slamet, using lightweight bricks will speed up the construction process and material usage. Lightweight bricks have advantages in home construction due to the speed of application.
Unlike red bricks that have a small size, the area of lightweight bricks makes walls finish quickly. Automatically, lightweight bricks will be more cost-effective. In addition, using lightweight bricks does not require cement-sand-water plaster, only adhesive and water.
As information, APERSI and Blesscon lightweight bricks are partners in creating quality homes. Housing developers are one of the consumers of lightweight bricks in the
country.
Blesscon's lightweight brick Brand Manager, Yusuf Permadi, revealed that since 2021, they have taken the initiative to register for certification from relevant institutions. Although there are no regulations from the government or developers, this is done to ensure its quality.
He mentioned that Blesscon lightweight bricks are currently the first and only ones certified with the Green Label (environmentally friendly) and SNI in the wall pair category.
"When consumers decide to make a purchase, there are many considerations, with the Green Label and SNI, we believe it can solidify their choice towards Blesscon lightweight bricks," concluded Yusuf.
